Audience.

A Contact consists of various Contact Fields that store key details about an individual, enabling personalized and targeted marketing. The default Contact Fields include:

  • Email
  • First Name
  • Last Name

These fields ensure effective communication and identification.

When you need a static group of contacts, such as event attendees or specific subscribers, that only changes with manual updates.

To organize contacts based on simple criteria, like those who signed up for a specific product release.

For campaigns targeting a defined group of contacts without requiring continuous updates or modifications.

A Segment is a group of contacts that share specific characteristics or meet certain criteria. Segments are dynamic and automatically updated based on the rules you set.

You can use Segments to target specific audiences in your campaigns, sending tailored messages based on the contacts’ behaviors, preferences, or other criteria. Here are some examples of Segments you can create to target specific groups of contacts:

  • Age range and Gender: Contacts in a specific age range and/or gender.
  • Recent Purchasers: Contacts who made a purchase within the last 30 days.
  • Location-Based: Contacts living in a specific city, region, or country.

Segments excel at dynamic targeting and campaign personalization based on real-time behavior and data, while Lists are best for organizing static, long-term contact groups.

Use Segments when you need:

  • Real-Time Updates
  • Personalization
  • Data-Driven Campaigns
  • Behavioral Targeting

Use Lists when you need:

  • Long-term Grouping
  • Manual Control
  • Ease of Management

Yes, you can create as many segments as needed. Each segment can serve a unique purpose, such as targeting new customers or rewarding loyal ones.

The available Field Types are:

  • Number (Integer): is any number that does not include decimal parts (ex. 6, 28, 987).
  • Number (Real): is any number that includes decimal parts (ex. 6.51, 28.7, 7.42).
  • Text (up to 255 characters): is a full-text content (ex. description, comments etc.).
  • Boolean (Yes/No): is a field type that has one of two possible values “Yes” or “No” answers (ex. over 18 year, driving license etc.).
  • Opt-In: is a field used to manage consent for certain types of communications (Ex. contacts may have Transactional Opt-In and/or Promotional Opt-In).
  • Date: is a field including day, month & year (ex. 7/6/2024, 21/12/1980)

  • Data Set: is a contact field that offers multiple options for the information within the field, allowing you to select from predefined values.

Opt-in Fields are essential for managing consent and ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations. They allow you to track whether a contact has explicitly agreed to receive communications or participate in specific activities.

By using Opt-in Fields, you can build trust with your audience, maintain accurate records of consent, and tailor your messaging to respect individual preferences. This not only improves your engagement rates but also protects your organization from potential legal issues.

Campaign.

Before launching a campaign, it’s important to define your goals, choose the appropriate communication channels, identify and segment your target audience, prepare your content in advance, and ensure all necessary assets (such as visuals or landing pages) are ready. Testing your message on a small audience first is also recommended.

Using Opt-in Fields in your campaign directly impacts how your audience is selected, ensuring that only contacts who have given consent will receive your messages.

This helps you target the right audience while staying compliant with regulations.

In Statistics, you can select a specific channel (e.g., SMS, Viber, Email) to view aggregated performance data across all campaigns sent through that channel.

These statistics offer a broader overview of each channel’s performance.
You can also apply filters such as time range and location to narrow down your insights and better analyze delivery status and audience engagement trends.
